National Parks in the British Virgin Islands
The BVI National Parks Trust (NPT) was established under the National Parks Ordinance of 1961 as a statutory body, responsible for parks and protected areas. Since its emergnace the BVI National Parks trust has acquired parks and protected areas under the system plan through private or public sector land donations.
Today the National Parks Trust has preserved and protected some of the most breathtaking terrestrial and marine areas that visitors come back to the BVI and visit year after year. Sites such as the Baths on Virgin Gorda, RMS Rhone marine site, J.R.O'Neal Botanical Garden and Sage Mountain are just a few of the protected area that are not to be missed on your BVIVACATION.
