Snorkel or Dive The Bight, Near Norman Island, British Virgin Islands

The Bight is one of the British Virgin Islands most popular site for sailing charters in the British Virgin Islands. Some of the best Snorkeling in the BVI is located at the reef on the eastern part of the harbour south of the beach. This area has a bowl like shape block rougher waters from the south-east. The sheltered area is almost always calm and a perfect place for person snorkeling for the first time. The area is equipped with mooring balls and two restaurants. The Willie T (Williams Thornton) which is a floating Bar and a Restaurant named The Pirates Bight on Norman Island. This is one of the top areas for chartered yacht so expect much yacht traffic in this location.

How to get to the Bight, Norman Island?
A ferry leaves from Hannahs Estate Bay which is located right after you pass Nanny Cay heading in the direction of West End on the Left hand side of the Road. Contact Pirate Bight Restaurant for more information of ferry scheduling. VHF Channel 16 and 69 or phone - 496-7827
